Enriched, Good-For-You “Tieman’s Fusion Coffee” & the Health Benefits in Your Coffee Cup

Unknown-4

Coffee and me-–why do I always feel so guilty about my very enjoyable relationship with Java Joe? The many recent reports of the benefits of drinking coffee have caught my eye and I have read them with caffeinated interest. But am I seizing on these benefits because I want to justify my guilty pleasure, while pushing the negatives to the back burner?

It’s true that when I choose to have a cup of coffee, I am missing an opportunity to drink something healthier, like green or ginger tea, a protein-packed vegan smoothie, a chia pomegranate juice or just plain refreshing water. The other problem between me and coffee is that the acid in coffee sometimes gives me some acid reflux—that is an undeniable negative. We, at Vegan American Princess, have addressed the negatives of drinking coffee in previous posts (see below) and my blogging partner, Debby, has kicked the coffee habit and is a happy-go-lucky tea lover now!

Unknown-3But I have stumbled upon a delicious brand of coffee that is low in acid and actually has more added benefits that I could ever have dreamed of! It’s called Tieman’s Fusion Coffee and I will extol all it’s many virtues, shortly, but first, some surprising research-backed benefits (also see below for links) from drinking coffee:

BENEFITS OF COFFEE

  1. Coffee drinkers may live longer.
  2. Coffee drinkers are less likely to develop diabetes.
  3. Coffee may fight certain types of cancer.
  4. Coffee may fight Parkinson’s Disease.
  5. Coffee may fight Dementia & Alzheimer’s.
  6. Coffee may counter heart disease and stroke.
  7. Coffee is rich in antioxidants.
  8. Coffee may buffer depression.
  9. Coffee or caffeine can make pain medication more effective.
  10. Coffee may act as a pain reliever.
  11. Coffee enhances exercise performance.
  12. Last, but not least…Coffee can help you go to the bathroom.

I think my discovery of Tieman’s Fusion Coffee has raised my liquid addiction to a respectable place in my own personal nutrition. Tieman’s Fusion Coffee, which I bought at my local Sprout’s store, does everything in the above list and so much more. They have fused three additional nutritional powerhouse ingredients into the coffee:

Unknown-5

Matcha: the Ceremonial Green Tea of Japan, it has 100 times the antioxidants and nutrients than any steeped green tea

Unknown-6

Rooibos: mountain grown bush tea from South Africa, it is known for amazing health benefits, including calming and settling properties

Goji: the red berry superfood, grown in the Himalaya’s and well-known in Buddhist lore, it is celebrated for many rare minerals that increase energy, endurance and create a positive mood

UnknownAs the Tieman’s Fusion Coffee website describes:

“Magic in a Cup: An 8 oz cup of Tieman’s Fusion Coffee provides the human body with 5 times the daily requirement for antioxidant protection…Unlike any coffee, Tieman’s provide a Low, Slow and Steady release of natural caffeines from coffee and tea that deliver a Smooth, Clean Energy. Many customers experience a sustained energy of 5-7 hours. Additionally, Tieman’s Fusion Coffee helps the body maintain a balanced ph due to our Low Acid Coffee.”

Well, honestly, before I continue typing I think I’ll go make myself a guilt-free delicious cup of Tieman’s, for goodness sake!….

Unknown-8The amount of antioxidants, which protect the body from damage caused by free radicals, in one cup is equal to 4 servings of fresh blueberries or 5 cups of green tea or 3 glasses of pomegranate juice. They have a patent pending for their process of fusion of 100% Arabica beans with these 3 superfood ingredients.  To top it off, the taste of the medium roast is very satisfying and robust. They make a dark roast and a decaf variation, as well.

On the company website, you will find more detailed information about this coffee’s benefits, the testing reports for nutritional values, ph levels and caffeine levels for the variations and what stores carry it. Ordering it online is available also. A serving of the medium roast contains 69 mg of caffeine and is a ph of 5.84.

There’s more… Tieman’s donates to Live2Free.org, a charity committed to ending human trafficking all over the world, and to ocfoodbank.org, providing food to thousands of people in Orange county.

I admit that I’m getting hooked on this coffee! But with Tieman’s Fusion Coffee, truly, it’s all good!
