I just wanted to remind you that The Seed 2013 will be taking place on Saturday, May 18th, from 10am-6pm, and on Sunday, May 19th, from 10am-6pm at 82 Mercer Street, 2nd Floor in New York City.
For those of you who are not familiar with The Seed, it is a wonderful two day plant-based event with vegan vendors, plant-based food stations, displays of new vegan products, and world-renowned vegan speakers, athletes and top chefs. There are also movie screenings, workshops, and more! I attended last year’s event and I really loved it. I sat through a mesmerizing lecture by the wonderful Colleen-Patrick Goudreau, sampled tons of great vegan food, and walked out with some excellent new vegan products. Click here if you want to read my post and see my photos of last year’s Seed event.
This year’s event has an all-star line-up including Cornelia Guest, Simone Reyes, Elizabeth Olsen and Fran Costigan. Click here to see the schedule of speakers and events scheduled for each of the two days. Click here to purchase your tickets in advance.
I might try to get there on Sunday if I am able. I highly recommend that you pop in to check out the action.

Hi Debbie
Last year Perrie mentioned that you would be there, but somehow I missed you then. I will be attending tomorrow (Sunday) only.
This year a friend of mine, Juan Pablo Chavez (a wonderful vegan chef: http://healthylifestylechef.com/) is doing a special presentation at 3 PM, so I am especially looking forward to that, and also plan to be at Victoria Moran’s presentation immediately following.
Hi Michael,
I had so many things going on this weekend so, unfortunately, I was unable to make it to The Seed. I can’t wait to check out Juan Pablo’s website. How did his presentation go? What did he make? Victoria Moran is amazing, so I’m sure she was great too!
